Here is a stunningly beautiful antique multi-gem ring in suffragette colours, in tip top condition.

Set on an 18ct gold band, this superb antique ring features a bright amethyst sandwiched between two twinkling peridots. 8 old cut diamonds sit above and below these colourful gems blending beautifully, and organised in two rows of four.

Jewellery which combined peridot, amethyst and diamonds or pearls together was often referred to as suffragette jewellery, as it was in these colours that the suffragettes were thought to communicate to each other that they supported the suffragette movement. (Green for 'Give', White for 'Women' and Violet for 'Vote')
This piece of history is fully hallmarked for 18ct Gold, Chester and the year 1905, when the suffragette movement was in full flow.

This ring is currently a UK size N 1/2 (US 7), but it could easily be re-sized up or down. It weighs a very helathy 2.30g, and it has been cleaned and is ready to wear.
